Post 11 - Bad Logos
While lookin up logo designs, I found an article about the new Ebay logo (at the time, at least). From what I read, people didn't like it. I've included it below:
Most of the complaints came from the fact that the letters were too close and that the letters didn't breathe. I do have to agree with them on that statement, but then there was a suggestion for an alternative logo. That one is below:
Personally, I think this one is worse. For me, it mainly has to do with the areas of the letters that overlap. Those off color areas pull my eye and distract from the overall logo design.
